Details

Characters

Characters can be numbers or letters in upper case only and are embossed onto the base plate in a choice of three different heights with Large (L) = 77mm, Medium (M) = 60mm, and Small (S) = 50mm depending on plate size and number of characters.

The characters are then coloured to highlight them, and the chosen character colour also becomes the plate's border colour.

Colour Variances

Please note that the colours shown are an approximation and may not be an exact match to production plate colours. Colours may appear different depending on your computer/monitor/device etc and may differ from batch to batch. When colours are used on black backgrounds they may appear darker i.e. yellow black background will appear darker (almost orange).

Design Restrictions

Please Note: Character combinations cannot resemble legal vehicle registration plates. Orders with letter/number combinations may be rejected by the factory.

Character combinations similar to either local government licenced or personalised plates will not be done. In general this includes the following list of character combinations where A stands for Alpha and N stands for Number and these combos are not allowed either with or without a space.

So for instance if you had an order for a plate to go on a show car with a combination like ABC 123 it would be a 'no no' but OK to have ABC 12A.

The factory will not supply plates that carry anything resembling a State identifier (ie: the small line of text such as VIC, NSW, QLD etc).

Punctuation

If spaces are required between characters these count as a character, and unfortunately punctuation marks such as apostrophes, hyphens and diamonds (as on legal plates) are not available.

Please Note: Some colours are not able to be printed on some backgrounds. Please see the chart in the image gallery for details.

Standard - 37.2cm x 13.4cm

Characters in sizes: L, M, or S. 1 line only. In L size 6 character max, in M size 7 character max. In S size 10 character max.

Background Colours: Custom novelty number plate base colour range is in a choice of 13 colours - White, Black, Yellow, Red, Pink, Maroon, Light Blue, Dark Blue, Green, Purple, Gold, Silver & Checkerplate.

Characters & Border Colours: The character colour range is in a choice of 8 colours - White, Black, Blue, Yellow, Ochre, Green, Red & Maroon.

Manufacturing and Delivery

Orders are batched into weekly manufacturing runs. Delivery times usually vary between 12-15 days but please allow up to 21 days.
